Shopping Event for CASA Volunteers
What is CASA?
Stands for Court Appointed Special Advocate. A CASA is a trained community member who acts as an agent of the court and works directly with the professionals on the case in the best interests of the children and youth they serve.
Denver #17 is hosting an event for these CASA Volunteers to come and shop for their children and families. All of the gifts are donated through charitable giving, non-profit partners, and community support.
There are 3 ways to support this event:
Volunteer at the event:
Bring gifts to the lodge Friday, Dec 9th.
Gifts should be for ages 0-5.
Additionally…The Lodge is doing a hat and glove drive for CASA please bring newly purchased items to lodge during drop-off times and dates.
