Lodge Room – main floor for meetings, fundraisers, weddings, banquets, and Lodge events with stage. Can seat 125-200 comfortably or up to 350 if standing.
Club Room Bar – The Jolly Cork’s Bar & dance floor located upstairs with an incredible view.
Game Room – upstairs behind club bar, for members and their guests.
Beer Garden – located in our parking lot a recent addition to provide outdoor event space for members and events.
Kitchen – a large commercial kitchen to provide meals for members and events. Serves also as a commercially rented commissary kitchen. Not open to the public nor to caterers for event rentals.
East Wing – third/top floor; large commercial space available for events or office space.

East Wing – garden level; three golf simulators in partnership with North High School girls & boys golf teams
Conference Room – seats 15 for committee, BOD meetings, and other member business.

Thank you for contacting the Denver Elks Lodge #17 about hosting your event. If you are looking to book space, you can get the process started on your own:
Look for an open spot on the calendar. Fill out the form below to provide details on your event. Bookings are accepted one year in advance and no later than 21 days before the event date.
If your event doesn’t fit the offered time slots, book adjoining ones and email events@denverelks.org to adjust.
Once you’ve reserved your spot, no one else can claim that space. You’re not confirmed quite yet! Once we see your booking and verify that we can accommodate it, you’ll receive a rental agreement to sign electronically and a PayPal invoice for a 25% deposit. This deposit is refundable up to 2 weeks before your event. A signed contract and 25% payment are required to confirm your event. You’ll be charged the remaining 75% of the rental fee 2 weeks prior to your event. If you don’t pay the balance 7 days (one week before your event), we reserve the right to cancel your event and retain your deposit.
Other helpful information: If you need a bartender for your event, we charge $25/hour. If you want a specialty cocktail or signature drink served, a 30-day notice is required to obtain supplies. To maintain the historical charm of our aging Lodge, we charge a $100 maintenance fee for rentals.
No outside alcohol is permitted at our Lodge. Don’t worry – we have everything you need. If you’d like something particular for your event, you can make a request.
We have an in-house caterer you are welcome (and encouraged) to use. Rob MacKenzie with Event Assassins can be contacted directly at 303-598-9916 or rob@event-assassins.com. They are great to work with! If you choose to cater yourself, you must be entirely self-supported…you supply all the dishes, utensils, serving trays, napkins, etc. along with setup and clean-up (no crock pots allowed).
The Lodge does not have anything to rent such as decorations, dishes, tablecloths, etc. NO USE OF THE COMMERCIAL KITCHEN OR STORAGE AREAS are allowed for events.

Our most popular room with a stellar view! This room is always open to members per our Lodge By-Laws. We rarely rent this room for private events because there is no exclusivity to this room and events cannot interrupt normal bar operations.
Great for bringing a few friends to the Lodge; includes a fully stocked bar and a bartender; with a beautiful view of the downtown Denver skyline.
No access to the commercial kitchen or storage facilities!
This is a medium sized ballroom with a stage and with a capacity of approximately 125 seated people at round tables or 200 for folks standing and seated. We have 11 round tables (can seat 9), 6 rectangular tables (can seat 6), along with 75 white folding chairs, 75-100 metal folding chairs, and 98 built-in red chairs that line the room. Use of tables and chairs are free; events are in charge of setup and clean-up. (For potluck events: We do no allow crockpots!. They overload our electrical system and can be a fire hazard.)
There is an optional small bar, the Blind Elk, connected to the Lodge Room for your event.
The Lodge Room is not available on 1st and 3rd Thursdays and requires at least 21 days’ notice to reserve.

We allow memorials in the Lodge Room, and in the Club Room (outside of normal business hours only). For additional information please email: events@denverelks.org. In your email please tell us the date, timing (including setup and clean-up), number of attendees expected, and what the event will include (decorations, speeches, PPT, etc.).
