There are many ways to give back with your time:

• Grants – Community Investments Program
  Our lodge participates in the national Elks organization’s Elks National Foundation (ENF) Community Investment Program (CIP)  Through the national endowment, lodges across the country receive more than $40 million in grants that can be put to work in our local communities. • Scholarships – As a scholarships committee volunteer, you’ll help coordinate the application and distribution of nearly $20,000 of annual scholarship awards from our lodge. Or, help with fundraising for Denver 17’s Scholarship Fund.  That’s our lodge’s own endowment that generates income to provide scholarships annually for Denver 17’s members’ children and grandchildren.
• Lodge Events – Are you a party planner?  Our Events committee pulls off the best parties in Denver!
• Membership – Love our lodge?  Our membership committee directs recruiting and initiation of new members with new and prospective member activities.
• Bingo – Volunteering at a Bingo session is an easy gig.  Anything from 2-4 hours, every Friday from 10:00 – 2:00 at Slammers Bingo at Jewell and Wadsworth.  No experience needed and you can just show up.  As a 501c8 non-profit, our bingo revenues fund charitable contributions from our lodge to other organizations.
