A good Elk volunteers for the Lodge. There’s a committee for almost anything you’re into — here’s where to start.
Committees
- Scholarships — help coordinate roughly $20,000 in annual scholarship awards, or fundraise for the Lodge’s own scholarship endowment
- Lodge Events — plan the parties. If you’re the type who organizes group trips, this is your committee
- Membership — recruit and onboard new members, run new-member orientation
- Grants — apply for Elks National Foundation Community Investment Program grants, which put more than $40 million a year to work across Elks lodges nationally
