How to Become a Member

Membership is open to any U.S. citizen over 21 who believes in a higher power — however you define that. No other qualifications required.

How It Works

1. Find a sponsor. Any member in good standing — from this Lodge or any Elks lodge in the country — can sponsor you. Don’t know anyone? Send an email to info@denverelks.org and we will find a time to introduce you to the lodge.
2. Fill out an application. Your sponsor will send you an application via email from www.elks.org.
3. Wait for a vote. Your application gets read at a regular Lodge meeting, with at least 10 days’ and up to two months’ notice before members vote.
4. You’re in. If the vote doesn’t go your way, you can reapply after six months.
